Charleston, South Carolina (July 2, 2013) – The announcement that Charleston was voted the Top City in the U.S. and Canada in the Travel + Leisure 2013 World’s Best Awards survey was made during a live appearance on the TODAY Show this morning by Nilou Motamed, the magazine’s features director. We are delighted to be recognized by readers of Travel + Leisure as a favorite travel destination and want to thank everyone who took the time to vote in this year's World's Best Awards."
