LITCHFIELD COUNTRY CLUB TO HOST “INTRODUCE YOUR DAUGHTER TO THE GAME” CLINICS IN JULY
June 30, 2008, Myrtle Beach, S.C. – Litchfield Country Club will host “Introduce Your Daughter Clinics” to all females under 16 years of age, with a parent, each Tuesday night during the month of July.
The weekly clinics begin at 4:30 p.m. and include a 40-minute session on the basics of golf led by Litchfield Country Club teaching professionals. The daughter and parent will then be able to apply those new skills by playing nine holes at Litchfield Country Club.
The clinic is $35 per twosome and clubs can be provided with advance notice. Reservations are suggested as space is limited to eight father/daughter or mother/daughter groups per clinic. For more information or to register, call (843) 237-3411, ext. 1 or visit MBN.com .
“This is a great opportunity for parents to introduce their daughter to the game of golf,” said Jim Woodring, vice president of golf operations for the Myrtle Beach National Company. “Golf is a game for all ages and Myrtle Beach National has always hosted events to get junior golfers interested in golf with our Kids Play Free’ program that runs year-round at all of our Myrtle Beach National courses, junior golf clinics and our spring and fall junior golf tournaments.”
